While traveling to Central Europe, people often have this question Prague or Budapest? Both have become equally famous in the last few decades & are incredibly beautiful. If you are trying to choose one of them between the two, let us help you a bit with the selection.
1) Short visit or a long one– It is easier to cover Prague in short duration as compared to Budapest. Prague is very compact & you can easily visit it just walking. Whereas Budapest has a lot to visit, Prague can be done in 2 days in a relaxed way whereas, Budapest needs 3-4 days in order to see everything at your own pace.

2) Vacation type- If you would love to walk around a fairytale place then Prague is the place for you, but if you would like to take a sip in thermal spa & would love to visit the ruin pubs; Budapest is for you. Budapest offers more activities to do as compared to Prague.

3) Beer or Wine– Prague is for beer whereas Budapest is for Wine. So, go to the place according to the one you love & you would love to see the varieties of them available.
4) Expenses– Budapest is comparatively cheaper than Prague in terms of currency. Everything is Budapest is decently rated whereas in Prague at times, it feels a little costly.
Except for these things, Prague and Budapest are almost equivalent. If we were asked to choose between these two, we would go for Budapest over Prague.
